That morning she was suddenly sick
He was gone without a kick
She was down and had this frown
He just left and went into town
For months she was growing
He did not see that she was glowing
She would visit the clinic for months
He would not bother, he would go to lunch
She owed up and said it was him
He denied but his face was dim
She wanted his support
He did not want to give in to the rapport
It was time for their baby to come
She wanted him to succumb
He had other priorities that day
She was utterly in dismay
He had it at the back of his mind
And quickly rushed to the hospital but he had been blind
For all along she wanted his love
He did not care as he soared above
They both had gone that day
The doctors said she was delayed
If only he had shown her love
She and the little one would not be in heaven above
