Looking out, hoping and waiting
Searching about, wishing and dreaming
Beyond the clouds my mind sails
Fond memories rekindle sweet tales
You hold my hand
I’m in dreamland
You wrap me close
My heart glows
You kiss my lips
Me - total eclipse
The clouds shy away
Like the crowds after a play
The chilling wind blows
I’m lost in the meadows
We walk together
You my glamour
Our eyes dance
In sweet romance
Our hearts beat
To love’s feet
You said you loved me
I would slave myself to thee
But you left so sudden
And I was weaken
Every tear is engraving your name
In my heart’s frame
and I promise to be alone
to keep this love for my headstone
